These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Website, as well as the general conditions under which VLAIKON presents its products and services and receives requests for quotations.
By accessing and using the Website you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.
The Website has a presentation and information role. It does not operate as an online shop: no firm order can be placed and no payment can be made through it. The sale of a Product takes place exclusively on the basis of a written Contract signed by both parties, which prevails over any information published on the Website
In the contractual relationship with Clients, the provisions of the Contract and its annexes apply in addition to these terms.
4. Use of the Website
You undertake to use the Website in good faith and in compliance with applicable law. The following are prohibited, without limitation:
using the Website for fraudulent purposes or in any way that could affect its operation, security or availability;
attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Website, to its servers or to the associated databases
automated collection of content through bots, scripts or similar tools, without our written consent;
submitting through the Website forms any illegal or offensive content, or third party data without their consent.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website permanently available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or for technical reasons beyond our control.
5. Intellectual property
All content of the Website, including texts, photographs, video materials, sketches, technical drawings, design elements, page structure, the VLAIKON name, logo and any other distinctive signs, belongs to MINCOS CONCEPT SRL or is used by it on the basis of lawfully obtained rights, and is protected by copyright and industrial property legislation.
Copying, reproducing, distributing, publishing, modifying or using the content of the Website for any commercial purpose, in whole or in part, is prohibited without our prior written consent.
Short text excerpts may be used for information purposes only, provided the source is credited and a link to the original page is included.
The construction solutions, sketches and layouts produced by VLAIKON during the consultancy process remain the intellectual property of VLAIKON until the Product is delivered to the Client, under the conditions set out in the Contract.
6. Product information
VLAIKON products are built to order and customised according to the needs of each Client. The information published on the Website, namely dimensions, weights, features, materials and equipment, is general in nature and describes reference configurations.
Photographs and video materials are illustrative. They show previously completed projects or possible configurations and do not constitute an exact representation of the Product that will be delivered, in particular with regard to colours, exterior design elements, furniture and equipment.
Technical specifications, materials and equipment suppliers may change without prior notice, as a result of improvements to the production process or of market availability. The configuration binding on both parties is the one set out in the accepted Offer and in the Contract.
Manufacturing tolerances specific to metal and bodywork construction are those customary in the industry and do not constitute non conformities.
7. Prices and VAT
Prices displayed on the Website are expressed in EUR and do not include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise. The exchange rate applicable to invoicing in RON is the one published by the National Bank of Romania and stated in the Contract.
The VAT treatment is as follows:
natural persons are invoiced with VAT, regardless of their country of residence;
companies registered in Romania are invoiced with VAT;
companies from other European Union member states holding a valid intra community VAT number are invoiced without VAT, under the exemption with credit regime, in accordance with applicable tax legislation;
companies outside the European Union are invoiced the net price, with VAT and import duties being payable in the country of destination.
Prices do not include transport, installation at the Client location, operating permits and authorisations, or any other services not expressly mentioned in the Offer.
VLAIKON reserves the right to change list prices without prior notice. Such changes do not affect accepted Offers or Contracts already signed.
Discounts for payment in full in advance are granted under the conditions stated in the Offer and cannot be combined with other reductions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Ordering process and conclusion of the contract
The standard process includes the following stages:
A request for information or for a quotation, submitted through the contact form, by phone, by email.
The consultancy discussion, during which we analyse the needs of the project, the workflow and the equipment required.
Preparation of a 2D sketch showing the position of the equipment, of the serving hatches and of the door, as applicable.
Issuing of the personalised Offer, containing the configuration, price, production time and payment terms.
Signing of the Contract and payment of the advance, at which point the order becomes firm and the project enters the production schedule.
An order is considered firm only on the date when the Contract is signed by both parties and the advance payment has been received in full in the VLAIKON account.
Any change to the configuration requested after signing the Contract is accepted only in writing and may result in price and lead time adjustments. Changes requested after production has started may be refused for technical reasons.
9. Payment methods and terms
Payment is made in two instalments, as follows:
50% of the Contract value, as an advance, when the firm order is placed;
50% of the Contract value, at least 20 days before the date set for collection of the Product.
For payment in full in advance we grant a discount, under the conditions and in the amount stated in the Offer.
The accepted payment methods are bank transfer and card payment at the POS terminal at our workshop.
As a fundamental rule, no Product is handed over to the Client before the price has been paid in full. Failure to pay the second instalment on time entitles VLAIKON to suspend the handover and to reschedule the collection date, subject to availability in the production schedule.
If the Client withdraws from the order after signing the Contract, the provisions of the Contract regarding the advance and the production costs already incurred apply.
10. Production lead times
Indicative production times are 60 working days for the standard model and between 90 and 150 working days for the premium models, depending on size, level of equipment and project complexity.
The specific lead time is set out in the Contract and starts running from the date the advance payment is received, or from the date on which the Client has provided all the information and approvals required to start production, if that date is later.
The lead time is extended accordingly where the delay is caused by the Client, for example by changes to the configuration, by delays in approving sketches or design elements, or by late supply of equipment provided by the Client.
Delays caused by equipment or material suppliers, as well as force majeure events, are handled in accordance with the applicable clauses of the Contract.
11. Warranties
Commercial warranty
VLAIKON warrants that the Products are new, unused, built from professional grade materials and compliant with the quality standards applicable to this category of products.
The commercial warranty period, calculated from the date of delivery and acceptance of the Product, is 24 months for natural persons and 12 months for legal entities. The warranty covers the chassis, axles, jockey wheel and body.
What the warranty does not cover
tyres, cables and hardware fittings;
the trailer body, where work has been carried out on it after acceptance through additional installations, for example furniture, vinyl wrapping, cladding panels, drilling or cut outs in the roof or walls, or the addition of extra weight to the body, such as structures for illuminated signs, menu boards or photovoltaic panels;
normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, accidents, unauthorised interventions or failure to follow the operating instructions.
Equipment warranty
For the equipment fitted in the trailer, the warranty is provided by its manufacturer or supplier. Any technical or aesthetic defects identified when the seal is broken are remedied through repair or replacement of the equipment by the manufacturer or supplier. For defects arising after acceptance, provided the operating rules have been observed, repair or replacement is the responsibility of the equipment supplier or of an authorised service centre, following a technical assessment.
Statutory rights of consumers
The commercial warranty does not remove or limit the rights granted to consumers by law, in particular those provided by Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods and by Government Ordinance no. 21/1992 on consumer protection.
After sales support
We provide consultancy and technical support after delivery. Periodic maintenance services at the Client location are not part of the standard package and can only be provided on the basis of a separate agreement.
12. Personal data protection
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation. Details on the categories of data, purposes, legal bases, recipients, storage periods and data subject rights are available in our Privacy Policy.
Information on the cookies used on the Website and on how you can manage your preferences is available in our Cookie Policy.
By submitting a contact form or a quotation request, you agree that the data provided may be used to respond to your request and to conduct the pre contractual and contractual relationship.
13. Commercial communications
We may send you commercial communications, such as product news, new concepts or offers, only if you have given your prior consent or if you are already our client and the communications concern products similar to those purchased.
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, using the unsubscribe link included in every message or by sending a request to our contact email address.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
Any complaint can be sent to info@vlaikon.com or in writing to our registered office. We review every complaint and provide a response within a maximum of 30 calendar days from registration.
The parties will attempt to settle any dispute amicably. Where this is not possible, consumers may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection, www.anpc.ro, or may use the alternative dispute resolution procedure through the ADR structures organised within ANPC, in accordance with Government Ordinance no. 38/2015.
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and can no longer be used. The list of national dispute resolution entities is available on the European Commission website.
15. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary, as a result of legislative changes or changes to our services or to the functionality of the Website. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time the Website is accessed, and the date of the last update is shown at the beginning of the document.
Amendments do not affect Contracts already concluded, which remain governed by the terms in force on the date they were signed.
If any clause of this document is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain valid and continue to produce effects.
