What is the starting price?
The minimum price is €5,370 + VAT for a bare 3m Standard model with no equipment.
How does the consultation process work?
We start with one consultation meeting. In most cases it's also the last one needed before we can begin the production. We take all the details about your project, understand your menu or concept, your equipment preferences, and your workflow. From there, we generate a 2D layout showing the exact positioning of every piece of equipment, every serving window, and every door. You approve the layout before we build a single component.
Can I customize the size, layout, and exterior design?
The Standard model is available from 3m to 6m in length, in increments of 50cm, with a maximum width of 240cm. Premium models go up to 9m in length with a maximum width of 215cm. The position, size, and number of serving windows and doors are chosen by the client. For the exterior, Premium models are available in any RAL colour at no extra cost. The Standard model is available in white and anthracite grey. Wrapping, LED strips, illuminated signage, dibond panels, and custom branding can be added to any model.
What documentation do I receive at delivery?
Every Vlaikon trailer is delivered with an invoice, a contract, a Certificate of Conformity (C.O.C.), red number plates, and 30-day RCA insurance.
Do you sell fully equipped trailers, or just the shell?
Both. You can order a bare trailer, or choose our Standard or Standard Plus equipment package. The Standard package includes stainless steel furniture, a complete 380V electrical system with 6 double sockets, a fuse board, an external connection socket, LED lighting inside and at the serving window, a water system with a stainless steel sink, an electric pump, and an instant hot and cold water heater. For Premium models, equipment is fully customised to your concept at the consultation stage.
What warranty do you offer?
Private individuals receive a 24-month warranty. Legal entities receive a 12-month warranty. The warranty covers the chassis, axles, steering wheel, and bodywork under normal use conditions. Equipment warranty is provided separately by each equipment manufacturer or supplier.
Do you charge VAT?
We charge VAT to private individuals regardless of country, and to Romanian companies. EU companies with a valid European VAT number do not pay VAT either at purchase or in their country of registration. Companies outside the EU pay the net price and settle VAT at import.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and POS card payment.
What are the payment terms?
We work with a two-stage payment structure. 50% is due at the time of placing your order, and the remaining 50% is due 20 days before collection. No trailer leaves our workshop until it is paid in full - no exceptions. If you prefer to pay the full amount upfront, we offer a discount: €250 off on a 3m trailer, €330 off on a 4m, €410 off on a 5m, and €495 off on a 6m.
How long does it take to build my trailer?
For the Standard model, the build time is 60 working days from the date your order is confirmed and your 50% deposit is received. For Premium models, build time ranges between 90 and 150 working days depending on complexity and customisation. Every trailer is built to order, we don't keep stock.
