the Workshop

Before Vlaikon, there was water polo. Our founder, Cosmin, spent years competing at a very serious level - a discipline where precision, consistency under pressure, and refusing to cut corners aren't optional. They are the baseline.

the Workshop

When that chapter closed, due to a serious injury, a new one opened - with a simple plan: open a food trailer business. Serve good food. Be his own boss. Build something that was his.

How It Started

It started with a listing on OLX. The plan was simple: find a trailer, start the business. The reality was different.
The imported ones arrived damaged. The local options were basic – designed to a price, not to a standard. The expensive ones still cut corners where it mattered. Every option required either compromise on quality or compromise on cost. Neither was acceptable.

That frustration became the foundation of everything that followed. Not a business plan. Not a market opportunity analysis. Just an honest conviction that the market deserved better – and that if nobody was going to build it right, he would.
He started with shells from reliable factories, built the furniture with skilled craftsmen, and mastered the assembly and finishing at his own workshop. Each trailer was better than the last.

How We Set Industry Standards

At Vlaikon, we do not simply build commercial trailers. We set a benchmark for how design, engineering, and functionality come together in a professional product. Every project is coordinated by our team, from the load-bearing structure and bodywork to custom furniture, installations, equipment, and finishes. Every stage is part of an integrated, controlled process tailored to the configuration selected by the customer.

We believe the difference between an ordinary product and an exceptional one lies in what is not immediately visible: construction precision, attention to detail, and control over every stage. That is why every trailer is inspected before delivery, and responsibility for the quality of the final product remains ours. We do not simply follow existing standards. Every day, we work to raise expectations across the commercial trailer industry.

Beyond manufacturing, what sets Vlaikon apart Is communication.

Yes, you can find a manufacturer. But, finding one that answers the questions others avoid – pricing, permits, layouts, equipment choices, realistic timelines – is harder. We built our entire client relationship model around the belief that an informed client is our best client. Not because it makes sales easier. Because it makes businesses more successful.

Where We’re Going

Our focus is on customers who value durability, quality, and long-term value — not just the lowest price.

Vlaikon began with a refusal to accept compromises in commercial trailer construction. Today, our vision goes beyond every product we build: we want to redefine industry standards and provide entrepreneurs across Europe with mobile commercial spaces built to a higher level.

Our ambition is to build one of the largest and most advanced commercial trailer manufacturing facilities in Europe — a centre of excellence where industrial capacity, technology, and attention to detail establish a new benchmark for the entire industry.

Because Vlaikon’s success is measured not only by the number of trailers delivered, but by the businesses they help bring to life and grow.
